At Psychiatric Connections, we provide personalized assessments and treatments to meet the specific needs of our patients.
The first step in obtaining our services is an initial psychiatric evaluation. This evaluation is designed to determine each patient's specific needs and develop a tailored treatment plan to improve their mental health. During this evaluation, we meet with the patient and conduct a comprehensive interview to understand their current mental health, previous psychiatric and medical history, as well as their social and environmental context. Based on this evaluation, we create an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, psychotherapy, and specialist referrals.
Medication management is an important aspect of our treatment process. We provide follow-up appointments to monitor and adjust medication dosages as needed to achieve optimal results. If medications are no longer required, we guide patients through a gradual discontinuation process.
Psychotherapy is also a key component of our treatment plans. We help patients address underlying psychological issues, develop coping strategies, and improve their overall mental health. Depending on individual needs, we offer various types of therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, family therapy, and group therapy.
In addition, we provide specialist referrals for consultations with pain management specialists, neurologists, and other psychiatrists when necessary. We also offer crisis intervention services, ensuring immediate help for patients in need, including referrals to inpatient or outpatient programs.
Seeking help from a psychiatrist is vital for preventing and managing mental health issues. Here, we offer accurate diagnoses, personalized treatments, medication management, psychotherapy expertise, specialist referrals, and crisis intervention. To schedule an appointment, we are available by appointment only and accept Venmo, debit, and credit cards. Feel free to contact us via phone at (206) 222-2109, email at
